Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has been fully implementing green manufacturing since the establishment of the factory, and strives to build an efficient, clean, low-carbon and circular green manufacturing system. In 2019, Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical was awarded the honorary title of "Green Factory" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Established in 2013, the "New Start" QC team belongs to the research group, which has always implemented total quality management for the purpose of improving the energy management level of the company and reducing the energy consumption of the company's output value, and formulated the corresponding activity system. Since its establishment, it has participated in the national pharmaceutical industry QCC results publication five times, and won the first prize and the best publication award.
In the process of implementing the development concept of innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing, comprehensively promoting energy conservation, emission reduction and low-carbon development, the "New Start" QC team always adheres to the law, scientific planning, local conditions, overall consideration, comprehensively improve the level of safety and environmental protection work, and constantly promote the innovative practices and advanced experience of green, safe and low-carbon development.
The group conducted a survey on the current situation of the company's energy consumption, and in 2018 and 2019, the company's energy consumption per unit product increased by 24.0% and 26.5% year-on-year. According to the current situation, the topic is "reducing boiler energy consumption". Through in-depth investigation and analysis, the team identified the main reasons affecting the boiler energy consumption as the following three points: high heat dissipation loss in exhaust smoke, boiler not regularly descaled, and boiler discharge unreasonable.
After determining the main reasons, the team members carried out the work strictly in accordance with the PDCA cycle. First, by increasing the waste heat recovery device to absorb part of the heat in the flue gas of the boiler tail, heating the boiler water supply temperature, saving the consumption of natural gas, and reducing the heat island effect to a certain extent. Secondly, by descaling the boiler smoke pipe, the operation efficiency of the boiler is improved, and the problem of low heat exchange efficiency of the water pipe wall in the furnace is solved. Finally, through the calculation of boiler blowdown rate, standardize the ways and methods of boiler blowdown, reduce the energy consumption of the boiler and improve the comprehensive management level of the boiler.
The effort eventually pays off, and from November 2019 to April 2020, energy consumption per unit product was reduced by 30.4% compared with January to September 2019, creating a "green factory" sample.
The development of the QC activity not only mobilized the enthusiasm and initiative of each member to participate in the activity, but also further enhanced the quality awareness, team spirit, and improvement awareness of the team members. As the leader of the "New Start" project team, Dai Jun said that our Yangzijiang Pharmaceutical Group has won 20 international QC gold awards, and Beijing Haiyan has insisted on carrying out QC activities for more than ten spring and autumn. QC activities let me understand that behind every success is not a single fight, but the strength of the team. I hope to use my humble efforts to infect everyone, together with innovative thinking and QC group activities to solve the practical problems in safety and environmental protection, so that the charming QC will always accompany me to grow up.
